Do you think that animals want to be our slaves? You kid yourself that this is somehow natural. Your ancestors did this enslavement - Friend Benjamin Lay had to call them out. Do you think they want to be tied to carts? Do you think they want to be our beasts of burden?
Do you think that calves want a ring ripped into their sensitive noses, so they cannot drink milk from their mothers - milk which you steal? What do you think that stolen milk does to your body? Do you not know that this stolen food for babies clogs your arteries, gives you immune reactions (sometimes severe) and so much more?
The Spirit protects itself. When you take the life or food of another being, you will suffer for it. Not only your body will be part of that suffering - your soul will suffer. You drive a wedge between yourself and The Holy Spirit. You wonder why your heart is so far from the divine. You are killing it and shoving its corpse into your body.
Open your heart to the suffering and death for which you are responsible! Saving others will save your own soul.
